NORFOLK, Va. – Sophomore Ajah Wayne was named C-USA Co-Player of the Week Monday afternoon following her standout performance on the hardwood this week. Wayne, who joined Rice's Nancy Mulkey with this week's top honor, led ODU past WKU and Marshall, posting back-to-back double-doubles. The C-USA Player of the Week honor is Waynes second of the season.
In a 76-65 win over WKU on Thursday, Wayne notched 23 points and 10 rebounds, while making nine of 12 shots from the field in 35 minutes. The win marked ODU's first victory over the Hilltoppers since joining the league.
