NORFOLK, Va. – Megan Watts of the Old Dominion women's soccer team was named the Free-Lance Star's All-Decade Women's Soccer Player of the Year. The Free Lance–Star is a daily newspaper distributed throughout Fredericksburg, Va.
At Mountain View High School, Watts set school records by scoring 45 goals as a senior and 115 goals in her high school career (which ranks in the top 20 in the Virginia High School League's record book). The Stafford, Va.-native was a three-time All-Area Player of the Year, as well as was named First Team All-State the final three years of her decorated high school career.
