Luke Horanski hit a walk-off RBI single in the bottom of the 10th inning to lift Virginia Tech to a 6-5 victory over Old Dominion on Wednesday night.
The Monarchs (11-24) took a 5-3 lead into the bottom of the ninth inning, but the Hokies (16-21) tied it on a wild pitch and a sac fly.
Kyle Battle and Erik Stock each had two hits and an RBI for ODU, which will visit Charlotte for a three-game Conference USA series beginning at 6 p.m. Friday.
