NORFOLK, Va. - Ece Turkoglu (Istanbul, Turkey) of the Old Dominion women's soccer team was selected to participate in a training camp from Jan. 13-18th and a friendly match for the Women's A National Team of Turkey.
Turkoglu has previously been selected and competed in the U17 and U19 youth national teams of Turkey and has compiled over 64 appearance caps. Earlier today, Turkoglu and Turkey took down Malta in a friendly by a 2-1 score.
In November, Turkoglu was named the Conference USA Co-Freshman of the Year, as well as was named to the All-League Third Team and All-Freshman squad.
