JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Old Dominion women's golfer Sana Tufail sits in sole possession of first place out of 87 golfers through two rounds at the UNF Collegiate, while the Monarchs are tied for first as a team with Memphis.
Tufail, a sophomore from Abu Dhabi, UAE, fired a 70 in round one and two Monday, which landed her in sole possession of first place four strokes under par. Tufail is two strokes ahead of second place Annelie Sjoholm from Campbell (-2) heading into the third and final round on Tuesday.
Maggie Simmermacher (+6) shot a 76 in round one and followed up with a 74 in round two, which was good for a 16th place result through two rounds.
