NORFOLK — Michael McGee, Trevon Majette and Tim Young won by pin Friday, and Old Dominion beat Southern Illinois- Edwardsville 28-13 in a Mid-American Conference wrestling dual.
McGee, ranked 18th at 125 pounds and 10-0 in duals, beat Gage Datlovsky in 6:18. Majette (133 pounds) needed 2:00 to take down Jacob Blaha, and Young (197) pinned Jake Godinez in 2:29. McGee is one win from 50 for his career.
Se’Derian Perry, No. 10 at 141 pounds, dominated Lucas Bernal 21-9 before SIUE (1-10, 1-5) rattled off three straight wins at 149, 157 and 165 pounds.
Luke Drugac stemmed the rally for ODU (6-5, 4-2) with with a 3-1 win over Kevin Gschwendtner at 174 pounds, and heavyweight Ali Wahab earned a 2-1 decision over Colton McKiernan.
