BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Vinnie Pasquantino hit a two-run homer to spark a 10-run fourth inning as Old Dominion evened a weekend Conference USA baseball series at Alabama-Birmingham with a 14-7 rout Saturday at Young Memorial Field.
Matt Burch added a two-run single for the Monarchs (17-13, 2-9) in the fourth, while Tommy Bell and Michael Marrale each added RBI doubles and Ryan Teschko and Andy Garriola each hit RBI singles.
ODU collected nine hits in the inning and took advantage of two errors by UAB (14-18, 2-9).
The Blazers won Friday's series opener 6-5 in 12 innings.
