CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Old Dominion University swimmer Filip Svedberg was named the Coastal Collegiate Sports Association (CCSA) Swimmer of the week, the CCSA announced on Tuesday.
A native of Sweden, Svedberg triumphed in the 50 and 100 freestyle, winning the 50 free in 21.59 and the 100 free in 47.04. He notched his third win of the meet against Davidson with a time of 49.88 in the 100 butterfly.
The weekly award is the second in Svedberg's career.
