Old Dominion beat Florida International 7-2 Sunday, giving the Monarchs two wins in the three-game home series. It was the third consecutive Conference USA series won by ODU (24-15, 7-11), which lost its first three C-USA series.
Winner Ryne Moore (6-2) held FIU to five hits and a run in six innings. Andy Garriola broke a 1-1 tie with a home run to right field in the sixth, and the Monarchs took control of the Golden Panthers (17-22, 7-11) with a five-run seventh.

The Phoenix (24-16, 13-2 Colonial Athletic Association) took a 7-0 lead by the third inning and completed a three-game sweep of the host Tribe (22-17, 5-10).
