NORFOLK, Va. – For the second time in three weeks, Old Dominion senior defender and captain was named the Conference USA Defender of the Week.
Stroud played every minute of both of ODU’s double overtime victories last week. She scored her fourth goal of the season in the 15th minute in a road win at Richmond on Sunday off a set piece. Stroud still leads ODU in goals, as well as points (9).
In Friday’s C-USA opener against Western Kentucky, she had a key block to keep the match tied at 0-0. On Sunday, she had a goal line clearance under pressure late in the second half to keep the score tied at 1-1.
