NORFOLK, Va. – Yulia Starodubtseva of the ODU women’s tennis team was named the ITA Atlantic Region Player to Watch on Saturday.
Starodubtseva earned All-Conference USA Second Team honors for singles and doubles. Last season as a true freshman, she garnered All-Conference USA Singles Second Team, as well as the All-Freshman Team accolades.
This season, Starodubtseva went 20-11 in singles and 17-8 in doubles. She and her doubles partner made it to the finals of the ITA Regional tournament held at Liberty University last fall. They knocked off the No. 1 seeded team on their way to the finals.
