With less than a week until spring football practice, ODUSports.com takes a look at each position group for the Monarchs. Today we look at the linebackers.
Linebacker Marvin Branch is the most experienced of the returning linebackers, as the junior owns 44 career tackles and four fumble recoveries. Terez Dickerson played in five games in 2016, recording three tackles, while Derek Wilder battled injuries, playing in three games on the year.
Senior linebackers TJ Ricks and Anthony Wilson combined for 201 tackles in 2016, as the Monarchs primarily played a 4-2-5 defensive alignment. ODU will look to fill the gap with a plethora of players looking to make their mark.
