NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University Sailing competed in a pair of events over the weekend.
ODU finished in fifth place at the GW Team Race with a 4-11 race record. Lee Dumaliang, Jack Elkin, Alec Chicoine and Dreugh Phillips were skippers for the Monarchs, while Stephen Guglielmo, Dane Pedersen and Gavin Burkhart were crew. The Monarchs had two wins apiece over St. Mary's and George Washington.
Old Dominion also participated in its own event, the ODU Women's, placing 11th. The Division A squad of Olivia Windemuller, Elleanor Wells and Victoria Ewing finished in 10th place. The trio featured a pair of third place finishes.
