NORFOLK, Va. - On Sunday, April 17, Old Dominion Athletic Director, Dr. Wood Selig, and his wife Ellen, hosted the SAAC end of the year meeting at his house for the sixth straight year.
The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is made up of representatives from each of the 18 teams to provide insight to administrators on the student-athlete experience and participate in civic engagement.
The meeting gave the students an opportunity to discuss academics, athletics and student-athlete welfare.
Topics included time demands, facilities and the various services within the department. Each year, SAAC kicks off the year with a meeting with President John R.
