SARASOTA, Fla. - The Old Dominion women's rowing team closed out action on the opening day of the Sunshine State Invitational. All four of their boats have qualified for the petite finals on Saturday morning.
"The Monarchs had a tough day of racing across the board. We experienced some breakage in the First Varsity 4+ race but were able to persevere to the finish; I would expect a more solid overall race from that crew in the Petite Final tomorrow," said head coach Dan Garbutt. "All boats seem to have been able to identify areas where improvements can be made, we look forward to racing in the petite finals tomorrow.
