Rowing Closes Fall Action at the Head of the Hooch

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – The Old Dominion women’s rowing team wrapped up action at the Head of the Hooch after competing in three events over the weekend.

“The team raced more solidly in each event and I felt that the 4s and Open 8s handled themselves well, said head coach Dan Garbutt. “ I certainly felt there is some solid foundation to build off of from the work out in this fall.”

On Saturday, In the women’s 8+, ODU entered two boats and finished in 12th (15:53.350) and 16th (16:24.454), respectively. In their second race of the day, ODU placed eighth with a 16:46.
