FAIRFAX, Va. - The Old Dominion rowing team closed out action at the George Mason Invitational on Sunday afternoon. ODU and the Big 12/AAC took a second place finish with 43 points in the conference formatted event.
In the morning, ODU competed against teams in the Big 12. The 1V8+ boat opened up action for ODU, where they finished in third behind West Virginia and Kansas. They posted a 6:39.81 time, which was just .41 seconds behind the Mountaineers. ODU's 2V8+ boat also finished in third with a 7:16.12 time in the morning heat. The 1V4+ boat took a third place finish after posting a 8:10.
