NORFOLK, Va. – Trey Porter, a redshirt junior on the ODU men’s basketball team, was named Conference USA Player of the Week, as announced by C-USA officials on Sunday night.
Porter (Woodbridge, Va.) averaged a double-double in two ODU wins, which ultimately secured second place in next week's conference tournament. He averaged 23.5 points, 12.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.0 block per game for the week. Against FAU, Porter went for 29 points, 12 rebounds, two assists and one block. Against FIU, he scored 18 points, hauled down 13 rebounds, had three steals, two assists and one block.
