Old Dominion women's soccer team scores early, rolls Richmond

The Old Dominion women’s soccer team tallied three unanswered goals in the first half Sunday and cruised to a 4-1 win over Richmond in its final nonconference game .

Morgan Hall scored from just outside the net in the 12th minute and Emily Roberts’ header in the 30th made the difference for the Monarchs (3-3-2), who outshot the Spiders 25-6.

Blair Vilov scored off a Richmond turnover before TJ Anderson sent home a penalty kick to put the Spiders (0-8-0) on the board before the half. Kira Laurento added the Monarchs’ insurance goal in the 59th.
