RICHMOND | Kira Laurento scored in the 102nd minute as Old Dominion edged Richmond 2-1 in extra time.
The Monarchs (4-2-2) are off to their best start since 2008 after a fourth consecutive double-overtime match.
Jackie Stroud struck first for ODU in the 15th minute. Brooke Beam tied it for Richmond (0-7) in the 39th.
Krista Moisio made a save and earned the win. She has been credited with all eight Monarchs decisions this season.
Iris Achterhof assisted both goals for ODU, which travels to Conference USA foe Florida Atlantic on Friday.
