Old Dominion Powers Past Delaware, 4-1

NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion women’s tennis team (10-6) downed Delaware by a 4-1 score on Wednesday afternoon outside at the Folkes-Stevens Tennis Center.

"Hats off to Delaware,” said ODU head coach Dom Manilla. “I was incredibly impressed at how prepared they were for today’s match with the wind and the outdoor tennis that we played. I was really impressed with the level of energy they brought to the doubles that carried over into singles. I feel lucky that we were able to eke out a win."

The Lady Monarchs will welcome in-state rival VCU (11-6) on Sat.
