WACO, Texas – The Old Dominion women’s tennis team (6-4) fell to No. 13 Baylor (8-2) by a 4-0 score on Thursday night at the Hurd Tennis Center.
Old Dominion will be right back in action tomorrow, Friday, March 3 at 4:00 p.m., when they take on Conference USA foe North Texas in Denton.
North Texas has started the season off 4-6, but is currently on a two-match winning streak. The Mean Green has one player ranked in the top 100 of the ITA rankings in sophomore Maria Kononova, who is ranked at No. 74 in the nation and boasts a 9-1 record to start the spring.
