Old Dominion beats UTSA 78-56 to keep pace in C-USA

NORFOLK, Va. -- Brandan Stith had 21 points, 14 rebounds and seven blocks, Trey Freeman added 21 points with six assists and Old Dominion beat Texas-San Antonio 78-56 on Saturday night.

Stith, a sophomore, was 7 of 12 from the field and set career highs for points and blocks.

Zoran Talley scored 10 points for Old Dominion (17-12, 10-6), which is in fifth place -- one game behind Louisiana Tech, Middle Tennessee and Marshall -- in the Conference USA standings with two games to play. The top four teams secure a first-round bye in the conference tournament.
