GREENVILLE, N.C. – The Old Dominion women’s soccer team played East Carolina to a 1-1 draw in its first game of the spring season. Weather moved game from Saturday afternoon to Sunday evening.
“This was a great first game for our spring season as it was really high tempo and competitive,” said ODU head coach Angie Hind. “We were looking at a different shape and I think for our first game in it, we did really well. We looked solid defensively with dominant performances from our back line, led by Jackie Stroud, Kathryn Hill and Natalie Johnson.
