Old Dominion's Katerina Vlasinova was named Conference USA Women's Golfer of the Week after finishing third in the 85-player field at the Brickyard Collegiate in Macon, Ga.
Competing in a field with two top-25 ranked teams and one top-25 ranked individual, the junior from Czech Republic fired 70-75-71 to finish at even par and in a third-place tie. Her 12 birdies tied for the second-most in the tournament.
Among the players she beat was Texas A&M's Maddie Szeryk, who entered the tournament ranked No. 19 in the nation but finished fifth.
