Jack Dechow and Kevin Beazley posted back-to-back major decisions to help Old Dominion rally from a 12-0 deficit and edge Ohio 19-18 in a Mid-American Conference wrestling dual meet Friday night at the Constant Center.
The match was tied at 18 after the final bout, but the Monarchs (6-9, 2-5) won the tiebreaker on the third criteria for most individual match points (68-67).
Dechow defeated Dontae McGee 13-3 at 184 pounds, while Beazley beat Bailey Faust 14-4 at 197.
Other ODU winners included Michael Hayes (149), Larry Early (157) and Seldon Wright (165), a former Oscar Smith star who won 4-2 in overtime.
