Junior Rachel Walker tied for third place in the individual competition and led Old Dominion to a second-place finish in the team competition Wednesday at the Conference USA women's golf championships.
The Lady Monarchs finished 13 strokes behind Middle Tennessee State, which won its second straight title.
Walker, of Dumfries, Scotland, closed with a 3-under-par 69 on the 6,194-yard Verandah Club layout and finished at 2-over 218 for the tournament. Florida International's Meghan MacLaren finished at 3-under 213 to win her second straight individual title.
Two other Lady Monarchs finished in the top 10: Sana Tufail (220) tied for sixth and Maggie Simmermacher (224) tied for 10th.
