Old Dominion claimed the first conference women's golf title in school history, capturing the Conference USA Championship Wednesday at the Verandah Club.
Maggie Simmermacher and Katerina Vlasinova made the All-Tournament team, finishing second and tied for fourth, respectively, in the 55-golfer field.
The win, under first-year coach Mallory Hetzel, gives the Monarchs the league's automatic bid to the NCAA DI Championships, the first in the school's 15-year history of women's golf.
ODU was second after two rounds, trailing Middle Tennessee by four strokes, but the Monarchs shot 1-over on the final day of competition while the Blue Raiders were 13-over and finished eight back.
