MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The No. 75 nationally ranked and No. 4 seeded Old Dominion women’s tennis team (14-7) dominated No. 5 seeded Marshall (11-11) by a 4-0 score in the Quarterfinals of the Conference USA Tournament on Friday at the Adams Tennis Complex.
The Lady Tennis Monarchs will be right back in action tomorrow in the Semifinals against No. 1 seeded and No. 45 nationally ranked FIU at 1:00 p.m. EST.
Just last weekend, ODU traveled to Huntington and lost to Marshall by a 5-2 score in the regular season finale, not even 10 days later, Old Dominion avenged that loss and ended the Thundering Herd’s season.
