NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion women’s soccer team held Richmond scoreless in its third match of the spring season, as the Lady Monarchs claimed a 1-0 victory over the Spiders at the ODU Soccer Complex to remain unbeaten in the spring.
“This was a game we grew into and learned quite a bit about ourselves,” explained ODU head coach Angie Hind. “In the first half, we were organized defensively and created some good openings in attack; however, we didn’t have as much possession as we would have liked. In the second half, we stepped the team up and I was so pleased with how we pressed and our use of the ball was so much better.
