The Old Dominion baseball team was picked Wednesday to finish fourth in Conference USA in a poll of the league's coaches.
Ahead of the Monarchs in the poll were Rice, defending C-USA regular-season champion Florida Atlantic and tournament champ Southern Miss.
ODU, which didn't put anyone on the preseason all-conference team, is coming off of a 32-24 season, 15-15 in the conference. They reached the C-USA tournament but lost both games.
