Old Dominion women's soccer players Krista Moisio and Jackie Stroud were honored this week as Conference USA's keeper and defender of the week, respectively.
The pair helped lead ODU to two road shutout victories over the weekend, wins that earned the Lady Monarchs a spot in the C-USA Tournament. Moisio has played all 1,634 minutes in goal for the Lady Monarchs this season, compiling a 1.49 goals against average.
Eighth-seeded ODU opens play in the C-USA Tournament Wednesday with an 11 a.m. game against No. 1 seeded North Texas. The Lady Monarchs lost two weeks ago at North Texas 2-1.
