Jesse Miralrio’s goal in the eighth minute of overtime Wednesday night lifted Old Dominion’s men to a 1-0 win over Marshall at Veterans Memorial Soccer Complex.
It was the first Conference USA win of the season for the Monarchs (4-6-2, 1-3-1) and snapped a six-game winless streak.
Miralrio, who led the Monarchs with seven shots, including five on goal, scored off a deflected pass inside the 6-yard box in the 98th minute.
Jimmy Filerman assisted on the goal.
Alex Tiesenhausen stopped five shots to collect his third shutout of the year.
