The Student-Athlete Academic Services of Old Dominion University held an interview workshop on Wednesday, March 1. This event was held in the Webb Center on the campus of Old Dominion University. Special guests for the interview workshop included: Northwestern Mutual, Career Development Services of Old Dominion and Virginia Beach Parks and Recreation.
Northwestern Mutual gave an engaging presentation to all senior student-athletes. The presentation included in-depth interviewing skills that seniors will need to successfully progress through the interviewing process. The lesson for the seniors did not stop there. After the presentation, students were required to do mock interviews for three, 20 minute rounds with experienced hiring managers and professionals from the community.
