ODU Falls to UTEP, 2-0

NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion women’s soccer team (4-8-0, 2-2-0 C-USA) fell by a 2-0 score to UTEP (9-2-2, 2-1-0 C-USA) on Sunday afternoon at the ODU Soccer Complex.

The Miners scored the first half’s lone goal in the 23rd minute, when Bri Thomas found Jeanna Mullen to give UTEP a 1-0 lead heading into halftime. Mullen’s second goal of the season marked the first goal that Old Dominion had given up in a total of 223 minutes in conference play.

ODU’s Krista Moisio made three tough first half saves to keep the Lady Soccer Monarchs within one.
