CONWAY, S.C. – Old Dominion men’s soccer fell Saturday afternoon to Coastal Carolina 3-2 in non-conference action at the CCU Soccer Stadium in Conway, S.C. Three unanswered goals by the Chanticleers in an eight-minute window propelled the home team to their fourth victory of the season.
Jesse Miralrio and Doni Pollock scored the two Monarch goals in 7th and 78th minutes, respectively, while Coastal scored three late unanswered goals to tie and win the match. The Monarchs fall to 3-4-2 on the season while the Chanticleers improve to 4-4-1.
Miralrio got the Monarchs on the board in the 7th minute on a shot from 10-yards out that connected with the lower left section of the net.
