Old Dominion is back in a national baseball pollfor the first time since 2007.
The Monarchs, coming off a series win at UAB over the weekend, moved into D1Baseball’s Top 25 at No. 25. ODU is 32-14 overall and 16-8 in Conference USA, good for second place .
The Monarchs have lost just one of 11 weekend series this season, average 7.2 runs per game and hit .292 as a club.
ODU’s last top-25 ranking came before Chris Finwood took over as coach, in 2007, when the Monarchs were ranked 25th by Baseball America under coach Jerry Meyers.
