NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion Athletic Foundation (ODAF) is pleased to officially announce the launch of the Power of the Pride Campaign with the goal of reaching 3,000 members by the end of 2016. With the recent passing of legislation by the NCAA that allows universities the ability to offer full cost of attendance for student-athletes and a new Virginia State Bill that limits the use of school funds and student fees to support athletics, the need for private support for our eighteen athletic programs is more critical than ever.
“Whether you are a current or former ODAF member or if you just love ODU athletics, we need your help in recruiting new fans to join the ODAF,” said Jena Virga, Senior Associate Athletic Director for Development.
