No. 49 Tennis Monarch End Regular Season With A 4-3 Win at W&M

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – The No. 49 Old Dominion men’s tennis team (17-5) downed William & Mary (9-11) in the regular season finale on Sunday afternoon by a 4-3 score. The Monarchs clinched the match at a 4-1 score, but played out the remaining two singles matches. ODU has now won nine of its last 11 matches.

“I'm very happy with our composure throughout the dual match,” said ODU head coach Dominik Mueller. “We played a solid doubles point and won three matches in straight sets. After we clinched the match we lost some focus and let too many games in a row get away from us.
