DES MOINES, Iowa – The No. 36 nationally ranked Old Dominion men’s tennis team (15-6) defeated Drake (12-13) by a 4-3 score on Saturday at the Roger Knapp Tennis Center. Saturday marked the regular season road finale for ODU.
“We saw some heroic efforts today,” said ODU head coach Dominik Mueller. “We were down a set and a break and down match point in two of the singles matches we won. No matter how hard Drake pushed us in a corner, our guys responded and found a way to come back. Our doubles play has been stronger as well over the past two weeks.
