MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The No. 35 Old Dominion men’s tennis team (12-6) took down Florida Atlantic (12-7) by a 4-1 score on Saturday. The Tennis Monarchs have now claimed victory in six of their last seven matches, while outscoring their opponents 28-10 during that stretch.

“Our struggle in doubles continues, but we are doing a good job not allowing that to impact our singles play,” said ODU head coach Dominik Mueller. “The guys did a phenomenal job again being focused in singles from start to finish. FAU beat us last year at home, so we wanted to reverse that result.
