DENTON, Texas – The No. 24 nationally ranked Old Dominion women’s tennis team (12-2) took down North Texas (8-6) by a 4-3 score on Friday night at the Waranch Tennis Complex. ODU sealed the deal on the victory at a 4-0 score; however, the teams agreed to play the remaining three singles matches.
The Monarchs are currently riding a four-match win-streak and have claimed victory in nine of their last 10 matches.
Entering Friday, North Texas held a 7-1 record when playing on their home courts.
