NORFOLK, Va. -- The 19th-ranked Old Dominion field hockey team (6-6, 2-2 BIG EAST) will head to New Haven, Connecticut this Friday, Oct. 14 for an 11:30 a.m. conference game against Quinnipiac (3-10, 2-2 BIG EAST) before returning home to the L.R. Hill Sports Complex on Sunday to host No. 4 Duke (11-2, 3-1 ACC) at 1 p.m.
ODU enters the weekend after falling to Temple, 2-1 OT, last Friday in Philadelphia. Despite a goal scored by Chrissy Horn and ODU owning a 21-7 shot advantage, the Owls were able to find the back of the cage in overtime to secure the conference victory.
