Nhek's Overtime Goal Lifts ODU Over MT in Murfreesboro, 1-0

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Amanda Neck’s goal in the in 99th minute lifted the Old Dominion women’s soccer team (5-6-2, 2-3-0 C-USA) over Middle Tennessee (7-3-1, 2-1-1 C-USA) by a 1-0 score on Friday night at Dean Hayes Stadium. The loss was the first for the Blue Raiders in conference play, as well as at home this season. The victory marked the Monarchs first road win of the season.

Kira Laurento's shot drilled the crossbar to allow Nhek to get free for the game winner, which marked Laurento's first assist of the season.

ODU’s freshman goalkeeper, Jasmine Crawley, made a career high seven saves in the shutout victory.
