PAWLEYS ISLAND, S.C. – Carter Morgan carded a tournament-low 65 (-7) on Tuesday to share co-medalist honors with No. 36-ranked Pontus Nyholm of Campbell at the Golfweek Spring Invitational, held at the par-72, 6,940-yard True Blue Golf Club on Pawleys Island, South Carolina.
The senior from Tappahannock, Virginia finished the three-round event at 13-under 203 (70-68-65). Morgan bettered his score in each round of the event, culminating with his second-lowest score as a Monarch in the final round.
Morgan received medalist honors for the second time as a Monarch after winning the VCU Invitational on Sept.
