Former Old Dominion basketball guard Ahmad Caver was named the Tom Scott Award winner, the Norfolk Sports Club announced. The award is given to ODU's top senior student-athlete as voted on by the NSC.
“Winning the Tom Scott Award means a lot to me. All of the hard work and sacrifices I made in college paid off,” Caver said in a release. “I’m glad some people are recognizing it, and I will continue to grow as an athlete, as well as a human being.”
