Behind a school-record thirteen three-pointers, Old Dominion (1-6) defeated Coppin State, 75-67, on Thursday, handing first-year head coach Nikki McCray-Penson the first win of her head-coaching career. The 75 points were a season high for the Monarchs. The duo of Kelly Loftus and Victoria Morris led ODU's barrage from beyond the arc, combining for 10 triples, including seven in the fourth quarter.
