Old Dominion got goals from three different players Saturday in outlasting Alabama-Birmingham 3-2 for a Conference USA victory at the ODU Soccer Complex.
Max Wilschrey and Chesapeake’s Brandon Perdue scored to give the Monarchs a 2-0 halftime lead. A UAB tally in the 59th minute made it 2-1 before CJ Taylor pushed the margin to 3-1 nearly five minutes later.
The Blazers made it a one-goal game again in the 86th minute, but couldn't net the equalizer.
