NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University sailing finished in sixth place at the Aaron Szambecki Team Race in Norfolk over the weekend. ODU also took sixth at the Hanbury Team Race at Christopher Newport.
At the Szambecki, ODU finished with a 7-7 record with a pair of wins over Cornell, Harvard and US Merchant Marine Academy, and a single win over Tufts. The skippers for the weekend were Jeremy Herrin, AJ Jacob, Jack Elkin, Dreugh Phillips and Alec Chicoine. The crew were Carter Little, Emily Harrison, Abigail Lockler, Stephen Guglielmo, Gavin Burkhart and Jocelyn Rovniak.
ODU had race wins over Navy and Christopher Newport at the Hanbury Team Race in their sixth place finish.
