The Monarchs were at 7-over 295 and five strokes behind sixth-place Wisconsin. The top six teams earn spots in the national championship round.
Charlotte De Corte led the Monarchs, the top mid-major at the regional after one day of play, with a 1-under 71, which included four birdies. She’s in a tie for 13th.
The Cavaliers shot 9 under, five shots ahead of Duke.
